Highlands is celebrating KINDNESS in the month of October which is National Ani-Bulling Month. Students are encourages to wear ORANGE or wear shirts that advocate for KINDNESS every FRIDAY in October.
Shop at Evereve in Edina on Tuesday, October 11th anytime between 10am and 8pm to help raise money for the Highlands PTO. 15% of all purchases will go back to Highlands PTO to support our amazing school. All you need to do is mention Highlands PTO at check out. You can shop in person at the store or you can shop online and CALL the store (952-746-8255) to place your order for curbside pick up. Just make sure you mention Highlands PTO when you check out!
Please join the Site Council to help clean up the outside areas at Highlands, so that our outdoor learning is safe, clean and beautiful! Saturday, October 1st from 10:00am - noon. More info next week!
Join us with fellow Highlands parents in decorating sidewalks leading into school to kick off Highlands anti-bullying campaign. Bring your best kindness quotes (drawing skills optional!) and help us "surprise" the students on Monday when they arrive at school. Chalk will be provided so stop by the school on 10/2 to help spread the kindness vibe!

Calling all 5th Grade Artists - Submit Cover Art by September 30th. Your student's artwork could be featured on the cover of the 2022-2023 yearbook. Artwork must include the title Highlands Happenings and the years 2022-2023.

At Edina Public Schools we are committed to helping all students succeed. The ADSIS Intervention Program, MN Math & Reading Corps Programs, and the Success Center program are all available for students who have met the criteria. At any point throughout the year, a student could be a part of these intervention programs. We have specific qualifying and exit criteria for each of the programs. Click through to find out more!
