The 5th grade Bike Trip is an annual tradition at Highlands. The bike trip is 12.5 miles roundtrip with hills scattered throughout. There will be an option to ride in a car, with a parent volunteer, instead of a bike. Please click here to fill out a brief survey about the bike trip.

Highlands Multilingual Community, we are excited to share that we are recruiting new members for the Highlands Multilingual Advisory Council (MLAC) for the 2022-23 school year. All student medications will be sent home the last few days of school. Health Services will package student medication/supplies in a labeled bag and send home in their backpack unless you make alternative arrangements with the health office. Once at home, please remove all medication and store safely. More information here.

The Highlands Carnival was a huge success!!! The carnival raised over $18,000 for the PTO to use toward their yearly budget!!!! A huge shout-out to all those who donated to the raffle baskets and volunteered to help last week for set up and at carnival. Seeing the kids so excited to have carnival back was so awesome to see!
For a variety of reasons, we have decided to postpone the outside clean up to the fall. Please look for more information as schools starts in September. Thank you to everyone willing to help!
